The Spirit Forest recruits Forest Spirits: cheap Primal defenders with four times more defense than attack, and the natural answer to Astral attackers like the Athlas.
How recruiting works
Every unlocked Spirit Forest recruits Forest Spirit without a break, also while you are offline. At level 1 a site recruits one Forest Spirit every 1m (60 per hour); each level adds 25% of that, up to 3× at level 9. Several sites of the same kind add up.
New units appear on your home portal. Once your home island is at its strength limit, further units are turned into ranking points instead, and after a long absence the game only counts the first 7 days.
Faster recruiting
- Recruiting artifacts from the Nexus or the Artifact Forge.
- Recruitment Surge (+20%) in the Temple.
Levels
Every site starts at level 1 and can be upgraded to level 9 with Soulstones. The cost shown is for reaching that level. While Builder's Grace is active, level-ups cost 20% less.
| Level | Upgrade cost | Speed | Forest Spirit per hour | Per day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | 1× | 60 | 1'440 |
| 2 | 1.25× | 75 | 1'800 | |
| 3 | 1.5× | 90 | 2'160 | |
| 4 | 1.75× | 105 | 2'520 | |
| 5 | 2× | 120 | 2'880 | |
| 6 | 2.25× | 135 | 3'240 | |
| 7 | 2.5× | 150 | 3'600 | |
| 8 | 2.75× | 165 | 3'960 | |
| 9 | 3× | 180 | 4'320 |
Getting a Spirit Forest
Turn any unlocked site (except the Temple) into a Spirit Forest for
5'000Soulstones. The new site starts at level 1, and the levels of the site you replaced are lost. You can have up to 40 of them, locked plots included.
Tips
- Forest Spirits defend; they are poor attackers. Build a Spirit Forest when you need to hold fields, not take them.
- Primal units are weak against Infernal attackers such as the Ranax, so do not rely on Forest Spirits alone.
