The Soulstone Mine is the backbone of every home island in Ove. It produces Soulstones every minute, whether you are online or not, and almost everything else on your island is paid for with them.
How it works
A mine produces 1 Soulstone per minute at level 1, and every level adds 0.25 more, up to 3 per minute at level 9. Production never stops and has no storage limit: a mine you have not visited for a week holds a week of Soulstones.
Soulstones are not added to your account on their own. Open the mine and press Collect to pick them up. Production starts again from zero right away.
What makes a mine produce more
- Level. The table below shows the output at every level.
- Mining artifacts raise the output of all your mines by their bonus. The Nexus crafts them on demand, and the Artifact Forge forges one now and then.
- Soulstone Blessing adds 20% while it is active, and it is free.
The bonuses multiply: a mine with a +20% mining artifact and Soulstone Blessing produces 1.2 × 1.2 = 1.44 times its base output.
Levels
Every site starts at level 1 and can be upgraded to level 9 with Soulstones. The cost shown is for reaching that level. While Builder's Grace is active, level-ups cost 20% less.

Getting a Soulstone Mine
A new home island comes with 3 Soulstone Mines ready to use.
You can also turn any unlocked site (except the Temple) into a Soulstone Mine for 10'000Soulstones. The new site starts at level 1, and the levels of the site you replaced are lost. You can have up to 40 of them, locked plots included.
When does an upgrade pay off?
Each level adds the same 360 Soulstones per day, but the upgrade cost doubles every level. Without any bonus, an upgrade earns back its cost in:
| Upgrade to | Cost | Pays back after |
|---|---|---|
| Level 2 | 4'000Soulstones | 11.1 days |
| Level 3 | 8'000Soulstones | 22.2 days |
| Level 4 | 16'000Soulstones | 44.4 days |
| Level 5 | 32'000Soulstones | 88.9 days |
| Level 6 | 64'000Soulstones | 177.8 days |
| Level 7 | 128'000Soulstones | 355.6 days |
| Level 8 | 256'000Soulstones | 711.1 days |
| Level 9 | 512'000Soulstones | 1'422.2 days |
