The Pangoan lives in the most remote regions of the world. It is distantly related to the Ranax, but calm where the Ranax is wild: equally strong in attack and defense, and countered by nothing.
Strengths and weaknesses
Umbral units stand outside the combat type cycle: the Pangoan never gets an effectiveness bonus, and no unit ever gets one against it.
How to use it
- The Pangoan is the backbone of most armies. Use it to attack and to defend; it is never the wrong unit.
- In a defense, Pangoans blunt an attack that would otherwise be effective: no unit gets the effectiveness bonus against them.
- Specialists beat it in their favourite matchup. For a fight you have spied out, mix in units with the right counter.
- In Ove, Pangoan Call speeds up Pangoan recruitment more than any other spell does for any unit.
