The Elder Spirit chose the life of a hermit long ago and went out into the wilderness to pursue its mission. It is the toughest Primal defender in the game.

As a Primal unit, the Elder Spirit gets the effectiveness bonus against Astral units, in attack and in defense:

How to use it
- Elder Spirits are among the strongest common defenders. A wall of them holds well, above all against Astral attackers like the Athlas and the Vahloc.
- Their attack is weak: do not send them out to attack.
- Infernal attackers such as the Ranax and the Teryx break even large Elder Spirit walls thanks to their effectiveness bonus.
- No home-island site recruits them. In Ove, capture a magic forest on an event island to recruit them there.
