Island Building Guide: Your First Home in Ove
Your Ove home island is your protected base in Rise in Time. Start by understanding what it produces, then use that economy to prepare for the world beyond it. This guide focuses on persistent progression, rather than Dominion rounds.

1. Learn what your home produces
Mines produce SoulStones over time. Collect them and inspect the next upgrade before spending. Your early choices are about what you need next: a stronger resource income or troops for exploration.
Production continues during your absence, but collection and upgrade choices remain yours. Check your available buildings in the game instead of assuming every building is unlocked at the start.

If a resource shortage is stopping your plans, compare mine upgrades. If you cannot field the army you need, inspect recruitment options. Keep enough resources for the next action you intend to take rather than upgrading everything just because it is available.
There is no universal build order here: your unlocked buildings, existing production and expedition plans change the choice. Read the cost and effect shown in the game before committing.
3. Prepare troops before choosing a fight
Different units have different strengths. Combat types and buffs affect the outcome, so compare more than the number of troops on a field. Learn the units you can recruit and use the wiki to understand unfamiliar opponents.
An expedition risks troops. Start with a target you understand and learn from its battle report before committing more of your army.

Event islands are temporary and contested. Before sending troops, check how long the island will remain, what you want to gain there and how you plan to bring your troops back.
A field on an event island does not become a permanent part of your base. Treat it as an expedition objective. Your home remains the place to invest in long-term production and recruitment.

After returning, review what limited you. Did you need different troops, more resources or a better understanding of the target? Use that answer to choose your next building or upgrade.

Do not confuse persistent home progression with permanent ownership of event islands. Do not assume that offline production makes battles safe to ignore. And do not use Dominion advice about round resets and shrinking rings as a home-building plan.
