Ove

Ove is the current long-term progression world in Rise in Time. It is persistent, built around a protected home island and rotating event islands, and is the place where players gradually build long-term strength instead of playing short self-contained rounds like in Dominion.

What Ove is

Ove is the persistent progression mode. You keep developing your account over time instead of starting from zero every round.

The core structure of Ove is: a protected home island, temporary event islands, long-term resource growth, artifacts and ranking progression.

How Ove differs from Dominion

  • Ove is persistent long-term progression; Dominion is a short competitive round.
  • Ove uses home-island progression and virtual-place buildings; Dominion resets in-round economy and territory every match.
  • Runes are part of Dominion rounds, but are not part of Ove.
  • Dominion can grant rewards that feed back into Ove progression.

Main Ove gameplay loop

  • Upgrade your home island and its long-term production systems.
  • Watch for event islands and use them for artifacts, buffs and additional opportunities.
  • Convert long-term activity into resources, ranking points and account growth.

Important Ove systems

Ove is especially tied to Soulstone-based progression, artifacts, event-island play and home-island buildings. See Soulstones, Field Buffs, Treasure Field and the dedicated Ove pages for more detail.
