Guard Naki

The most powerful unit among the Naki tribe. The Guard Naki knows how to use his battle axe to expand his territory. When he isn't out on an adventure, he can be found in the high grass fields of the Starter Island.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Effectiveness

The Guard Naki is a Primal unit and therefore gets the effectiveness bonus against all Astral units: Athlas, Vahloc, Ovivi, Ovivi Hero.

Their good attack-to-recruitment ratio makes Guard Nakis the strongest offensive option on the Starter Island — both for reaching the portal and for early PVP fights. Together with the Nyxi they are the answer to Astral defenders: the effectiveness bonus cuts deep into Vahloc and Ovivi walls.

Ineffectiveness

As a Primal unit, the Guard Naki is weak against Infernal units: Ranax, Raider Naki, Teryx, Raider Hero, Teryx Hero. Against Spirit defenders he gets no bonus either, so the defensive Elder Spirit costs him more than it used to.

He also can't keep up with the raw attack values of the later offensive units Nyxi and Ranax, so his role fades once those become available.
