Strengths & Weaknesses

Effectiveness

The Vahloc is an Astral unit and gets the effectiveness bonus against all Infernal units: Guard Naki, Ranax, Raider Naki, Teryx, Raider Hero, Teryx Hero.

With 120 defense, the Vahloc is the strongest common defender in the game. He shines exactly where it matters: against the big Infernal attackers Ranax and Teryx, he takes reduced effective damage while they get no bonus against him. With Vahloc in your hands, your island becomes a nearly unbreachable fortress.

Ineffectiveness

As an Astral unit, the Vahloc is weak against Primal units: Forest Spirit, Grass Spirit, Elder Spirit, Nyxi. Massed Nyxi attacks in particular can bring down even a big Vahloc wall thanks to their effectiveness bonus.
